About the photographer:

I love taking pictures. I take pictures of everything, and I don’t go anywhere without my camera. I am inspired not only by great photography, but also by the importance and the ability to record life as it happens.

I became serious about photography about 5 years ago, and it has been a passion ever since. I love watching people, their emotions and light around them, and capturing it all in a photograph. As someone who enjoys hiking, biking and skiing, I am also an avid landscape and cityscape photography as well.

Born and raised in New Milford, Connecticut, I currently live in Danbury, Connecticut with my wife, Margot and our two cats, Lucy and Rosy.

About the photographs:

My style is best described as candid. I don’t spend a lot of time posing people, or getting them to look a certain way. I feel that people look their best when they’re just being themselves, and they’re comfortable in their own surroundings. I also think that people would rather see themselves laughing with friends or caught in a moment, instead of posed and forcing a smile. My style is attentive, but unobtrusive.

My photographs are very natural, without a lot of artificial post processing. I want my viewers to feel that the subject, composition, and light make the photograph interesting, and not a heavy handed approach to processing. While I may convert a few images to black and white if I feel it makes a stronger photograph, I tend to deliver a majority of color images. However, any photograph can be converted to black and white on request.

About the prints:

Why buy prints through me, and why are they more expensive than going to Wal-Mart? There is couple of reasons.
